Our Creative Process

Jed and Casey share a deeply attuned creative partnership. Because of how Jed experiences the world — including profound autism and apraxia — he often benefits from support staying regulated and physically coordinated. Casey’s steady presence helps create the conditions in which his artistic voice can emerge clearly.

Jed leads the creative vision for each piece, communicating his choices through intuitive collaboration and multiple forms of communication. While Jed guides the vision, he also creates space for Casey’s creative instincts, allowing moments of shared exploration within the work. This dynamic keeps the process responsive, fluid, and genuinely collaborative.

When apraxia limits his ability to execute movements directly, Casey assists by stabilizing materials, handling tools, and translating his direction into precise physical action. Her background in the arts and sustained attunement to Jed’s guidance allow his vision to be realized with care and accuracy.

Beyond the canvas, Casey manages the structure that allows the work to be shared — including materials, planning, documentation, sales, and studio operations. The collaboration is symbiotic: Jed brings vision, perception, and emotional depth, while Casey provides grounding, execution, and the framework that helps the work reach others.
